Going away party

Since I will be leaving in just over a week, my parents have planned a going away party for me. Tomorrow most of my family will be coming by to visit and eat some good Italian food....I've requested all of my favorites!!! It will be nice to see everyone before I leave, and I think it will be easier to say goodbye to several people at once. I kind of feel like this has been the most dragged-out goodbye ever, and it does get emotionally exhausting after awhile.

Sunday should be fun as well, and hopefully the weather will cooperate...I'll be taking in one last Red Sox game at Fenway with my good friend Carter. Other than that, I really need to focus on packing things up and getting any last minute stuff that I may need...I'm really getting tired 0f making lists and going to the store.

Next week is going to come and go very quickly! I feel like I am filled with so many emotions, and I can't believe I'm leaving. It is going to be such an exciting adventure, but I don't think it will all truly hit me until I'm actually in El Salvador. It has certainly been a whirlwind of a summer!

Ah that is sad we are going to miss you, but you are going to have an awsome adventure(and I am totally coming to visit!)... If you are lonely and need a beer when you are in D.C. head to bungalow billiards(the one in arlington), I already told my sister to hook you up :)
